Mako Networks Welcomes Hon Amy Adams to San Francisco

Simon Gamble from Mako Networks was one of five speakers from current and former Kiwi Landing Pad resident companies to present their U.S. growth story to Hon Amy Adams, New Zealand Minister for Communications and Information Technology, at a special gathering in San Francisco yesterday.

“It was a great opportunity for Mako to visit with the Minister and personally thank her for the support we’ve received along the way from the New Zealand government,” said Simon. “Whether for the grant contributions to accelerate our research and development, funding our post-graduate and undergraduate internship programmes, or backing for the Kiwi Landing Pad itself, Mako is extremely appreciative of the support from our government. We hope we can be a success story others look to in evaluating the success of these types of initiatives.”
