Mako Continues U.S. Expansion, Adds Pre-Sales Engineer Ronak Patel

 

Ronak Patel, Mako’s new Pre-Sales Engineer

 

Mako Networks has hired Ronak Patel of East Stroudsburg, Penn., as a pre-sales engineer in a newly created position on Mako’s North American team. He joins the company immediately, responsible for customer network evaluation, solution design, and implementation of Mako’s network management and security solutions.

Patel’s most recent prior role was as National Sales Engineer for DTT Surveillance, where he provided sales support for the company’s business development teams. His work included pre-sale discovery, sales presentations, and crafting deployment strategies for enterprise customer deployments.   

In other past roles, he worked for Micros Systems, a leading Point of Sale (POS) system provider, in its Restaurant, Sales, and Strategies business unit. Patel’s responsibilities included solution design, implementation support, training, and project and account management. Several of his projects involved large enterprise systems at major restaurant and quick-service restaurant franchises.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Pennsylvania State University.
