Mako Networks has released an updated and enhanced user interface for the Mako Central Management System (CMS) that brings a clean new look to the platform. While features and functionality remain the same, we expect users will find the redesigned UI to be more appealing and easier to use than ever before. Here are a few of the most notable updates.
Implementing a responsive design enables CMS elements to react to the dimensions of the window in which they appear. A CMS page may look visually different on a laptop screen when compared to a mobile device, for example.
The option to show and hide the main navigation menu can free up more screen space for firewall rules, dashboard displays, and more. On small screens, this menu is hidden automatically.
Clarity at a Glance
The Mako dashboard features new status icons to make the status of each port more clear. The Mako selection page now makes it easier to see WAN status at a glance, while the added ability to sort any data column helps users to quickly identify issues.
The quick access panel containing a Mako selection history list, Mako information link, and Mako ID search has been rearranged so it is easier to distinguish these different functions.
Mako Networks strives continuously to improve every Mako product and to offer innovative and secure networking experiences to Mako users. In addition to the new visual CMS changes, this latest update also lays the foundation for an exciting series of CMS functionality enhancements and additions that are scheduled for release throughout 2021. Details will be provided as each new feature becomes available.
