Mako Networks Becomes Authorized PCI Solution Vendor For Citgo Petroleum Stations

Chicago, IL – Citgo Petroleum has approved the Mako Networks’ PCI compliant network services for Citgo-branded petroleum stations throughout North America.  Citgo’s approval of Mako gives Citgo jobbers four authorized firewalls to choose from to protect their cardholder data environments.   With an easy-to-use cloud-based Central Management System (CMS), Mako allows jobbers and marketers to manage all of their sites through a single Web interface, without jeopardizing their networks’ PCI-compliant status. The solution also includes built-in cellular backup, wireless LANs, content filtering and reporting.  Additionally, Mako offers an array of other value-added features, including rogue device detection, proactive alerts and reporting to help maintain network security.

“We are pleased to be able to provide our unique PCI solution as an option for Citgo station owners,” said Simon Gamble, President, Mako Networks North America.  “Pilot installations have been completed in Michigan, and we now look forward to being able to deploy at the more than 6,000 Citgo retailers across the country.”
