Mako Networks Hires U.S. Business Development Manager Matthew Madden

Mako Networks has hired Matthew Madden of San Francisco as a business development manager on Mako’s North American sales team. He joins the company November 5, responsible for channel sales, account management, and growth of Mako’s U.S. customer base.

 

 

Matt joins Mako after working as the founder and principal of Values + Business Consulting for the past two years. In other prior roles, he was director of business development and product marketing for Alcatel-Lucent, and senior product marketing manager for Bell Labs Lucent Technologies.

In all his career spans more than 15 years of developing and implementing successful sales and marketing strategies, including significant experience selling complex networking and telecommunications equipment and negotiating and closing complex, multimillion-dollar product sales agreements.

Other past sales experience includes work as a sales representative for Midnight Networks, and as an account executive for American Power Conversion.

In hiring Madden, Mako Networks continues to rapidly expand its U.S. sales force, with representatives now based in San Francisco, Atlanta and Nashville, Tenn.

Matthew holds a Bachelor’s degree from Providence College, and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Presidio School of Management. He will be based in Mako’s San Francisco office, reporting directly to the president for North American operations, Simon Gamble.
