Mako Adds T-Mobile Cellular Option

Mako US customers can now choose T-Mobile as their cellular data service provider for preconfigured Mako appliances.

ELGIN, IL, November 13, 2019– Mako Networks has added T-Mobile as a cellular data service provider option to deliver LTE WAN connectivity for preconfigured Mako appliances. T-Mobile joins BT, Telstra, Spark, Orange, Jersey Telecom, Sprint, and Verizon as wireless carrier options for Mako appliances. Mako appliances continue to support almost all carriers should a customer wish to supply their own SIM card.

A core feature of the latest Mako 6600-M appliance is its ability to be configured for Fast Failover for High Availability, combining fixed‐line WAN connections with single- or dual-SIM LTE in any custom connection order or failover pattern desired to keep critical business systems online during unexpected network outages. Having a wide range of cellular providers available to support this functionality significantly broadens the Mako audience.
