Mako Employees Support the NZ Breast Cancer Foundation

< NEWS

Here at Mako Networks we like to recognise the efforts of our employees and the milestones in their tenure. Today was the one-year anniversary of our administrative assistant, Bryony, joining the team.

To recognise her efforts (and give a nod to Mean Girls, one of her favourite movies), Mako sponsored a ‘Wear Pink Wednesday’, where our CEO Bill Farmer would donate $25 to the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation for every employee that wore pink, and special recognition for the most elaborate attire.

The competition was intense, but Dermot, one of our developers, won the judging. In all 22 employees participated, raising a total of $550 for the cause.
