Chicago, IL — Mako Networks and CBE, Inc. have announced a partnering agreement to add Mako Networks to CBE’s portfolio of solutions for retailers. CBE customers can now purchase the Mako System integrated as a part of CBE’s offerings and can utilize CBE’s national installation team, which covers more than 40 states with full-time in-house field technicians to expedite the installation process and receive seamless ongoing support.


The Mako System creates simple, secure Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) certified networks for distributed enterprises (multisite businesses), such as retail chains or franchises. With an easy-to-use cloud-based Central Management System (CMS), Mako allows administrators to manage the network connections at thousands of sites through a single web interface without jeopardizing their networks’ PCI-compliant status. The solution also includes built-in Wi-Fi and Mako Guardian content filtering and reporting, in addition to an array of other value-added features, including 4G/LTE cellular failover and automated 24×7 monitoring and alerts to help maintain network security.
