Mako Networks has hired Paul Biegel as COO/CFO in a newly created senior position. He joins the company immediately, responsible for oversight and management of the company’s finances and operations.

Paul arrives at Mako having held several senior management roles, most recently as Executive Director of Ecopoint Limited, an importer and distributor of LED lighting for the commercial sector. He was also CFO and General Manager, Commercial, for Glengarry Hancocks Limited, New Zealand’s third-largest wine and spirits distributor.
In other prior roles, Paul was CFO of Medic Corporation, and Financial Controller of Westpac Financial Services. Paul started his career at Deloitte, where he spent 13 years, including eight in Southern California working with high-tech companies.
He is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Victoria University of Wellington.
