Mako Networks Hires Dharshana Ratnayake

AUCKLAND, New Zealand – 9 February 2011 – Mako Networks, a network management and payment card data security provider, has hired Dharshana Ratnayake as a senior software engineer. He joins the company immediately, responsible for coding and development of Mako Networks’ security and network management product line.

Dharshana rejoins Mako after working in the United Kingdom at a startup company since last year; he was previously a Lead Engineer for Mako Networks. Prior to Mako Networks, he worked as a Team Lead and Software Engineer for First Data Utilities, charged with development of several key applications and managing a team of engineers.

He has also been a Researcher for Peace Software, and holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Auckland.

Mako Networks Research and Development Director Murray Knox says:
