Mako Networks Hires Marketing Manager Julie Bishopp

Mako Networks has hired Julie Bishopp to join its North American team as a marketing manager. She joins the company immediately to drive the growth and success of Mako’s partner program, marketing campaigns, and corporate branding.

 

Julie joins Mako after leading the marketing efforts at Artemis Internet, a security company that has applied to operate the .secure Top-Level Domain.

In other prior roles, she was the marketing communications manager for Barracuda Networks, a network security company, where she developed and managed marketing collateral, sales enablement tools and drove worldwide communications for channel partners. She also worked as the marketing manager for Silver Peak Systems, which specializes in WAN optimization.

With more than a decade of marketing experience across several Silicon Valley start-ups, and a strong background in managing world-class channel partner programs, Julie’s experience will be instrumental to Mako’s marketing efforts worldwide.

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing from San Jose State University, and will be based at Mako’s North America office in San Francisco.
