Mako Networks Hires Jason Neil

Mako Networks has hired Jason Neil as a Senior Systems Administrator. He joins the company immediately at its Auckland headquarters, responsible for the day-to-day operations of Mako’s technical systems, including server and network performance, data integrity and backups, and system upgrades.

Jason is also charged with the security of Mako Networks’ computing systems, ensuring that Mako maintains strict compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS), a special set of mandatory criteria for businesses that process, store or transmit credit card data.

Jason joins the Mako team after working as a Core Application Services Manager at Vodafone New Zealand where he held management roles since 2008. In his most recent position, he was responsible for services such as Prepay, Payments, TXT, PXT, IVRs and Voicemail, reporting to the Head of IT Operations.

In other prior roles, he served in technical and system analyst/administrator roles for Unisys, Samsung, DHL.

He holds bachelor’s degrees in computer science and psychology from the University of Auckland.
